To make Extreme Sherbet!:
- Dissolve:
- 1 package gelatin (3 oz.) any flavor. (Lime is our favorite.)
- 1 c. boiling water
- Blend gelatin (in blender) with:
- 1 c. sugar
- ¾ c. non-instant dry milk powder
- 2 c. cold water
- ½ c. lime or lemon juice
- (Optional: 1 tsp. grated lemon peel)
- Freeze until mushy.
- Beat (with a mixer) until light and fluffy.
- Freeze again.
