- Mix dry ingredients:
- 2 c. wheat flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. yeast
- Add 2 c. very warm water to the flour mixture.
- Add 3-4 c. wheat flour, one cup at a time.
- Knead the dough until elastic.
- Cover with plastic wrap and a towel and allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down, cover with a damp towel, and let rest for 30 min.
- Divide into 24 parts and roll into 5 inch circles. Use plenty of flour.
- Place 4-5 at a time onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 450° for 5-6 min. Watch them puff!
