Gluten Sloppy Joes

  1. Grind to make “hamburger”:
    • 2 c. beef-flavored gluten
  2. Combine and simmer in a pot:
    • 1 tbs. dried minced onion
    • 1 c. ketchup
    • ¼ c. brown sugar
    • ⅛ c. cider vinegar
    • 1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ tsp. dry mustard
    • 1½ tsp. salt
    • ¼ tsp. pepper
    • ½ c. water
  3. Add gluten “hamburger” and simmer just until warm.
  4. Do not simmer for very long—it will get very mushy.
