- Grind to make “hamburger”:
- 2 c. beef-flavored gluten
- Combine and simmer in a pot:
- 1 tbs. dried minced onion
- 1 c. ketchup
- ¼ c. brown sugar
- ⅛ c. cider vinegar
- 1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp. dry mustard
- 1½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- ½ c. water
- Add gluten “hamburger” and simmer just until warm.
- Do not simmer for very long—it will get very mushy.
