- Grind to make “hamburger”:
- 2 c. beef-flavored gluten
- Combine in a bowl:
- ¼ c. water
- ½ envelope taco mix
- (or
- 2 tsp. dried minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. cornstarch
- ¼ tsp. dried oregano
- ½ tsp. ground cumin)
- Fry “hamburger” just until warm.
- Add water and spice mix.
- Do not simmer for very long—it will get very mushy.
