Gluten Taco Meat

  1. Grind to make “hamburger”:
    • 2 c. beef-flavored gluten
  2. Combine in a bowl:
    • ¼ c. water
    • ½ envelope taco mix
    • (or
      • 2 tsp. dried minced onion
      • 1 tsp. salt
      • 1 tsp. chili powder
      • ½ tsp. cornstarch
      • ¼ tsp. dried oregano
      • ½ tsp. ground cumin)
  3. Fry “hamburger” just until warm.
  4. Add water and spice mix.
  5. Do not simmer for very long—it will get very mushy.
