- Mix:
- 1½ c. wheat flour
- 1½ c. white flour
- ¼ c. wheat germ
- 1½ tsp. salt
- 2 c. rolled oats
- ¼ c. sugar
- Add:
- ½ c. oil
- 1½ c. milk or water
- ¼ c. sesame seeds
- Knead until smooth.
- Generously flour the work surface and roll out a piece of dough to be thin like a tortilla. (A pasta machine will also work.)
- Place dough on a greased baking sheet. (If needed, you can use the rolling pin to flatten the dough some more after it is on the baking sheet.)
- Use a pizza cutter to cut lines into the dough to form squares.
- Bake at 375° until golden.
- Break up along the cut lines. Allow to cool before storing in a sealed bag.
Cracker Variations
Onion and Cheese
- Add with the sesame seeds or knead into the mixed dough:
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Sprinkle parmesan on top and lightly press into the dough with a rolling pin.
Onion and Dill
- Add with the sesame seeds or knead into the mixed dough:

- ½ tsp. onion salt
- 2 tsp. dill weed
