This is a favorite with kids!
- Combine:
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tbs. prepared mustard
- Trim fat and coat meat with mixture
- 1½ lbs. beef round steak
- Cut meat into ½-inch-wide strips and place in a large pot or crockpot.
- Mix in a bowl and pour over meat:
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. beef bouillon
- 1 c. salsa
- Cover and cook 1½ hours on low on the stove, or 6-7 hours on high in the crockpot.
- Add:
- 1 can (15 oz.) small red beans, drained
- Cook 30 min.
- Serve in tortillas with fajita toppings.
