Skillet Helper

  1. Fry and drain:
    • 1 lb. ground turkey (or hamburger)
  2. Add:
    • 1 c. salsa
    • 1 c. uncooked orzo pasta (or macaroni)
    • 2 c. water
    • 1 tbs. chopped fresh cilantro (or 1 tsp. ground coriander)
    • 1 can (15 oz.) pinto beans, drained
  3. Heat to boiling.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 15-30 min. until pasta is tender.
  5. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking. If extra water is needed, add more salsa, too.
